Since 2008, the Philosophical Studies SIG has sponsored an invited lecture following the annual business meeting.

The 2021 lecture was given by Barbara Stengel (Vanderbilt University). The title of her talk was, “Why AERA Needs the Philosophical Studies SIG:  A Critical Pragmatist View of Responsibility in Education.”
